Greetings to all who remember me (good or bad) For those who don't, I joined 94 Regiment April 1968 as a Meteorologist. HQ Battery (later 156 Battery) lines might have been our address, but I soon found out that Met Troop lived at a place called Gun Area 31. In October '68, the troop split into three, one per Battery, and I ended up in 57 Battery. In 1972, Met Troop amalgamated again as RHQ/Met until 1974 when we split again and I became a member of F Troop in 73 Battery. So I actually served in all three Batteries. Anybody out there better that?
When I left the Regiment in 1977, in a fit of madness, or drunk, I joined the T.A. Met Troop and served with them until retirement in 1998.
During that 30 years, I have many memories and lots of stories but I will save that for a later date, although I must say that I'm surprised at Frank Smith for not remembering me in the boxing team '75 and '77.
All are welcome to contact me at my email address.
Regards Mike
