Joined 94 Loc regt RA in 1977 as clerk to Major Evans (QM(T)). Working with Ernie Johnson, Vince Davies, Paddy Keegan and Paddy Derwin. Went as Battery Clerk to 57 Battery in 1979 to 1981. Good friends with Fred and Diane Wilson. After leaving the Army in 1990 we went to belper to visit Diane and Fred, but Fred had passed away and has a cremation marker in the churchyard at Belper. Ian Hendrie was a Bdr then, though I met him later as a SSgt.
