About Us
Michael
McCaul BSc MBAcC
I am a graduate in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the University of Salford,
and I am licensed to practice acupuncture treatment in Wigan, Warrington
and Salford Metropolitan Borough areas.
I provide treatments from premises near Leigh Sports Village and at Parkview
Complementary Health Centre, Culcheth, Warrington.
I am a fully trained, practising member of the British Acupuncture Council
(BAcC),
I adhere to the Codes of Practice, Ethics and Health and Safety standards
of this professional body. The BAcC was formed in 1995 and now has nearly
3000 members making it the largest body of professional acupuncturists in
the UK.
I seek to provide a range of therapies including laser acupuncture and counselling,
as well as Traditional Chinese acupuncture. Treatments are given in a warm,
safe and supportive setting to promote wellbeing and healing, as well as
the clinical objectives for each individual patient or client.
If I am not able to treat you, I will try to refer you to someone who can.
I also act as a consultant acupuncture advisor to the Anne
Penman Laser Therapy Group in Scotland , and operate a project in conjunction
with two council operated sheltered housing community centres in Salford,
providing affordable treatments for residents and older people in the area.
